Program contains 96 note numbers (Note#19~#114) and audio samples assigned to those note numbers. Program also has some parameters for each note number to contorl how the assigned sample played.

Creating a Program :

  • In the "PGM" library, click "+" button.
  • In the "PGM" library, select the newly created program then click "Load" button.
  • Drag&drop audio sample file(s) to one of the virtual pad from the "SAMPL" library, or finder. If multiple samples are dropped, rest of the samples will be assigned to one higher number of pad. Previously assigned samples are replaced. (* If the samples are dropped from the finder, dropped samples will be imported to the "SAMPL" library or just reference to the file path depending on the preference setting.)
  • In the "PGM" display, edit parameters if needed.
  • Parameters :

  • Attack : Higher value causes less attack.
  • Decay : Higher value causes more narrow decline curve.
  • Pitch : Adjust pitch +/- 1 octave(-120~+120)
  • Loop State : If the loop state is "OFF", assigned sample played from the start point to the end point once. If the state is "ON", assigned sample continuously played until note off message received from start point and loops between the loop in and out point.

  • Import & Export AKAI MPC Programs : (MPC3000 and MPC2000(xl) format only)

    Importing :

  • From the menu : choose menu "Program" -> "Import MPC PGM...".
  • From the desktop : drag and drop ".PGM" file to the program library.
  • (* ".PGM" and all used sample files must be in a same folder.)


    In the "PROGRAM" library, [ctrl] + click on the program name that you want to export. Select "Export As MPC .PGM...".

    Save Panel will appear, Select PGM and sample file format then click "Save" button.
